Dr. Takhar began her interest in the medical field during her undergraduate studies at UC Irvine and earned a degree in the major of Biological Sciences. She then gained acceptance into medical school at New York Medical College where she completed her medical training. She then returned to her native California and settled in the heart of Orange County.
She has completed residency training in the wonderful field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UC Irvine Medical Center. She gained specialized training in electromyography and nerve conduction studies during her residency as well. Her ambition to continue her education and the management of pain disorders motivated her to also complete training in medical acupuncture at the Helms Institute affiliated with the UCLA School of Medicine.
She currently practices in Orange County, California at Pain Management Associates. She continues to strive to live a healthier lifestyle through healthy eating, exercise and balance in life. She welcomes the opportunity to work with you to help you achieve the same.
