Dr. Zavarei is a double board-certified physician specialist in the exciting new field of Pain Management, as well as Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
Dr. Zavarei began his undergraduate education at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He completed his medical education at American University, Montserrat and his residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at University of Virginia (UVA). Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Zavarei pursued subspecialty fellowship training in the field of Pain Management at IPM in San Francisco.
During his fellowship he fine-tuned his skills in interventional spinal procedures at all complexity levels, including Epidural & Transforaminol steroid injections, trail and implantation of Intrathecal Opioid Pumps & Spinal Cord Stimulator devices.
Dr. Zavarei currently practices Pain Management in Orange County, California, where he is the co-founder of Pain Management Associates, Inc.
